執柁（下駝左反釋名云船尾曰柁在後見柁曳也正船不使船柁戾也柁音陀佐反字文典說云船後正舡木也從木它聲經從手作拕誤也）。

執柁 (The second character is pronounced with the fanqie 駝 + 左. The Shiming says: the stern of a boat is called a rudder (tuó); situated at the rear, it is seen trailing along, righting the boat so it does not turn awry. 柁 is pronounced with the fanqie 陀 + 佐. The Ziwen dianshuo says: the wood at the stern that steers the boat; it takes the 'wood' radical and 它 as phonetic. In the sūtra it is written with the 'hand' radical as 拕, which is an error.)
