伶俜（上力丁反下劈冥反考聲云伶俜單弱皃行無力也案伶俜聯翩孤獨皃並從人令甹皆聲經從足作跉[跳-兆+甹]與義不同也）。

伶俜 (The first character is pronounced with the fanqie 力 + 丁. The second character is pronounced with the fanqie 劈 + 冥. The Kaosheng says: 伶俜 describes being solitary and frail, walking without strength. Note: 伶俜 describes being unsteadily swaying and solitary. Both take the 'person' radical, with 令 and 甹 as phonetic. In the sūtra they are written with the 'foot' radical as 跉[跳-兆+甹], which does not accord with the meaning.)
