沿𣶮（上悅全反下蘇祚反孔注尚書云順流而下曰沿毛詩傳曰逆流而上曰𣶮洄說文𣶮水欲下違而上也二字竝從水[八/口]𠩋皆聲𠩋音尺[八/口]音夷耎反）。

沿𣶮 (The first character is pronounced with the fanqie 悅 + 全. The second character is pronounced with the fanqie 蘇 + 祚. Kong's commentary on the Shangshu says: following the stream downward is called yán (沿). The Mao commentary on the Shijing says: going against the stream upward is called sùhuí (𣶮洄). The Shuowen says: 𣶮 means water intending to go downward being defied and flowing upward. Both characters take the 'water' radical, with [八/口] and 𠩋 as phonetic. 𠩋 is pronounced like 尺; [八/口] is pronounced with the fanqie 夷 + 耎.)
