鬒髮（上真忍反杜注左傳云美髮為鬒也考聲云髮多皃也說文正作㐱云稠髮也詩云㐱髮如雲從彡人聲或從髟作鬒經作縝結也非經義）。

鬒髮 (The first character is pronounced with the fanqie 真 + 忍. Du's commentary on the Zuozhuan says: fine, beautiful hair is 鬒. The Kaosheng says: the appearance of abundant hair. The Shuowen says: properly written 㐱, meaning thick hair; the Shijing says: 'Thick hair like clouds'; it takes the 'hair' radical (彡) and 人 as phonetic; or written with the 髟 radical as 鬒. In the sūtra it is written 縝, meaning bound, which is not the meaning here.)
