噴灑（上普悶反廣雅云噴吐也吹潠吐物為噴也顧野王云口含物而噴散之也語文吹氣也從口賁聲或作歕也經從水作濆音扶云反濆水名非此義也）。

Spurting and spraying (the upper character is [pronounced] fanqie: 普 [pǔ] + 悶 [mèn]; Guangya says: “Pen means spitting out; blowing or spitting out matter is pen.” Gu Yewang says: “Holding something in the mouth and spewing it out scatteringly.” The text says it is blowing out air; formed with the mouth semantic radical and 賁 as phonetic; also written as 歕. The sūtra writes it with the water radical as 濆, pronounced fanqie: 扶 [fú] + 云 [yún]; Fen is the name of a river, not this meaning).
