翩翩（疋綿反毛詩傳云翩翩不息也又云翩翩往來皃也顧野王云翩翩便旋輕捷之皃說文飛皃也從羽扁聲經作偏非此義）。

Fluttering (pronounced fanqie: 疋 [pǐ] + 綿 [mián]; Mao's commentary on the Shijing says: “Pian-pian means ceaseless.” It also says: “Pian-pian is the appearance of moving back and forth.” Gu Yewang says: “Pian-pian is the appearance of wheeling about lightly and nimbly.” Shuowen: “The appearance of flying; formed with the feather semantic radical and 扁 as phonetic.” The sūtra text writes 偏, which is not this meaning).
