厭笮（上黶甲反廣雅云厭亦笮也或作壓說文從厂猒聲下側格反顧野王云笮亦厭也說文從竹乍聲經從艸作苲誤）。

Press and squeeze (厭笮) (The first character has the fanqie yan + jia. The Guangya says: “Yan (厭) also means to squeeze (笮).” It is sometimes written 壓. The Shuowen says: “It is formed from the ‘cliff’ classifier and the phonetic yan (猒).” The second character has the fanqie ze + ge. Gu Yewang says: “Ze (笮) also means to press (厭).” The Shuowen says: “It is formed from the ‘bamboo’ classifier and the phonetic zha (乍).” In the sūtra it is written with the ‘grass’ classifier as 苲, which is an error).
