擯棄（上音鬢司馬注莊子云擯亦棄也說文從手賓聲下詰利反說文正作棄訓云損也從廾華從㐬籀文作棄廾音拱華音半安反㐬音土忽反經文從云作弃古字也）。

Cast out and abandoned (擯棄: the first character is pronounced [p]in. Sima [Biao]'s commentary to the Zhuangzi says: "擯 also means to cast out." The Shuowen jiezi says: "Categorized under 手 with 賓 as its phonetic." The second character has the fanqie [kʰ]it + [l]i. The Shuowen jiezi gives the standard form as 棄, glossing it: "To damage. Categorized under 廾, 𦥑, and 㐬." In the seal script it is written as 棄. 廾 has the fanqie [k]uŋ. 𦥑 has the fanqie [p]uan + [ʔ]an. 㐬 has the fanqie [tʰ]u + [x]ut. The sūtra text writes it under 云 as 弃, which is an ancient character).
