龍腦（案西域記云羯布羅香樹松身異葉花果亦別初採既濕尚未有香木乾之後修理而折其中有香狀如雲母色如氷雪此謂龍腦香也）。

龍腦 ("camphor"; examining the Record of the Western Regions, it says: 'The karpūra incense tree has the trunk of a pine but different leaves, and its flowers and fruit are also distinct. When first gathered while wet, it does not yet have fragrance; after the wood dries, it is processed and split open, and within it is the incense, resembling mica in appearance and ice and snow in colour. This is called dragon-brain incense [camphor]').
