柔耎（藝兗反顧野王云耎柔弱也博雅云耎弱也考聲云賈誼上書作軟也說文從大而聲經作𣽈誤用也）。

柔耎 ('soft and supple'; pronounced 藝 [yì] + 兗 [yǎn] fanqie. Gu Yewang says: '耎 [ruǎn] means soft and weak.' The Boya says: '耎 [ruǎn] means weak.' The Kaosheng says: 'In Jia Yi's memorial it is written as 軟.' The Shuowen has it composed of 大 with 而 as phonetic. In the sūtra text, writing it as 𣽈 is an erroneous usage).
