泯然（蜜牝反毛詩傳曰泯滅也爾雅云泯盡也說文從水民聲牝音頻泯反也）。

Vanishing completely (泯然; *mi* + *pìn* [mǐn]; the *Mao Commentary* on the *Shijing* says: "泯 means to extinguish." The *Erya* says: "泯 means to exhaust." The *Shuowen jiezi* says it has the water radical and the *min* sound; 牝 is pronounced *pín*, [making] the fanqie of 泯).
