Forehead (第頟: the lower character is 牙格 fanqie. The *Fangyan* states: "*E* (頟) is the forehead." The *Gujin zhengzi* states: "Derived from 頁, with 各 as its phonetic component." The dictionaries write it with 各 as 𬱃, which is the standard character. The preface to the sūtra writes it as 額, which is a vulgar character).
