Soaring roof-ridges (飛甍: the lower character has the fanqie 麥耕 [méng]. Du's commentary on the Zuozhuan states: "A 甍 is the ridgepole of a building." The Shuowen states: "Derived from 瓦, with 夢 abbreviated as phonetic").
