嚼齒（上匠爵反顧野王云嚼即噍也字書云咀也說文云以為噍字也從口爵聲噍音樵笑反咀才與反）。

Gnash the teeth (嚼齒: the upper character has the fanqie 匠爵 [jiáo]. Gu Yewang states: "嚼 is identical to 噍 [to chew]." The Zishu states: "To masticate (咀)." The Shuowen states: "Taken as the character 噍. Derived from 口, with 爵 as phonetic." 噍 has the fanqie 樵笑 [jiào]; 咀 has the fanqie 才與 [jǔ]).
