轢我（零的反說文車所踐也從車樂聲也經文作僻我考聲云僻偏也說文僻避也毛詩云僻從旁牽也非經義乖也僻音匹尺反）。

轢我 [Run over me]: Fanqie 零 (ling) + 的 (de) [MC: *lek]. The Shuowen jiezi states: 'That which a chariot treads upon. Formed from 車 (chariot) with the phonetic 樂 (le).' In the sūtra text it is written as 僻我. The Kaosheng states: '僻 (pi) means oblique/one-sided.' The Shuowen jiezi states: '僻 (pi) means to evade.' The Mao Commentary to the Odes states: '僻 (pi) means to drag from the side.' These do not accord with the sūtra's meaning and are contrary. 僻 is fanqie 匹 (pi) + 尺 (chi) [MC: *pʰiɛk].
