謾抵（上滿盤反說文謾欺也從言曼聲曼音萬也下低禮反考聲抵扞也拒也說文從手氐氐亦聲也經從牛作牴牴是觸誤也）。

謾抵 (the first character is man-pan fan; the Shuowen jiezi says: "Man means to deceive; composed of 'speech' with man as phonetic; man is pronounced wan"; the second is di-li fan; the Kaosheng says: "Di means to ward off or resist"; the Shuowen jiezi says: "Composed of 'hand' and di, with di also being phonetic"; in the sūtra it is written with the ox radical as 牴; 牴 means to butt, which is an error).
