Carved and ornamented (diaoshi; the upper character is niao-liao fan; it was already explained previously in the Sūtra on Maitreya's Descent to Become a Buddha. The lower character is sheng-zhi fan; it was already explained previously in the lower fascicle of the Sūtra on the Merits of Making Images).
