舂米（朿鍾反顧野王云舂謂擣穀為米也說文治粟也從廾持杵以臨臼上會意字也世本云雍父初舂杵也宋忠曰雍父黃帝臣也廾音拱）。

Hulling rice (chongmi; ci-zhong fan. Gu Yewang says: "Chong means pounding grain into rice." The Shuowen jiezi says: "To process grain. It takes the joined-hands classifier holding a pestle over a mortar; it is an associative compound." The Shiben says: "Yongfu first pounded with a pestle." Song Zhong says: "Yongfu was a minister of the Yellow Emperor." The joined-hands classifier [廾] has the sound gong).
