校量（上交巧反賈逵注國語云校考也說文從木交聲）。

Comparing and measuring [校量]: the first [character is pronounced with the fanqie] jiao-qiao (交巧反). Jia Kui's commentary on the Guoyu states: 'Jiào (校) means to examine/compare.' The Shuowen [jiezi] says it is formed from [the semantic component] mù (木, wood) and [the phonetic component] jiāo (交).
