指抓（下側絞反左傳云手甲也埤蒼抓掐也亦作爪說文抓刮也從手爪聲也）。

Fingernail scratching [指抓]: the second [character is pronounced with the fanqie] ce-jiao (側絞反). The Zuozhuan states: 'Fingernails.' The Picang states: 'Zhuā (抓) means to scratch or pinch.' It is also written as 爪. The Shuowen [jiezi] states: 'Zhuā means to scrape.' It is formed from [the semantic component] shǒu (手, hand) and [the phonetic component] zhuǎ (爪).
