謗讟（下同庶反杜注左傳云讟誹也方言痛也廣雅讟惡也說文從誩賣聲誩音乾敬反）。
Slander and grievance (謗讟: the second character has the fanqie [tian] + [shu]. Du's commentary on the Zuo zhuan says: '讟 [dú] means to slander.' The Fangyan says: 'Grievous.' The Guangya says: '讟 means evil.' The Shuowen says: 'It derives from 誩 [double speech] with 賣 [mài] phonetic; 誩 is pronounced [gan] + [jing].').
