晡時（上補胡反許注淮南子日行至申為晡時悲谷者日入處也顧野王云悲谷是日加申時也說文從日甫聲也）。

Late afternoon (晡時: the first character has the fanqie [bu] + [hu]. Xu's commentary on the Huainanzi says: 'When the sun reaches shēn [3–5 p.m.], that is the 晡 [bū] hour; Beigu is where the sun sets.' Gu Yewang says: 'Beigu is the hour when the sun enters the shēn period.' The Shuowen says: 'It derives from 日 [sun] with 甫 [fǔ] phonetic.').
