汲灌（上紀立反說文汲引水也從水反聲下宮換反晏嬰云灌沃也說文從水雚音桓聲也）。

汲灌 (The upper character is jì plus lì fanqie; the Shuowen says: 'Jí means to draw water; it has the water radical and [jí] fanqie phonetic.' The lower character is gōng plus huàn fanqie; Yan Ying says: 'Guàn means to pour on.' The Shuowen says: 'It has the water radical and the phonetic guān, pronounced huán').
