睚眦（五賣反下助賣反廣雅睚裂也說文以為眦目匡也淮南子云瞋目裂眦即其義也）。

Glaring furiously (睚眦): [睚 is] fanqie 五賣 (yái); the latter character [眦] is fanqie 助賣 (zài). The Guangya states: "睚 means to split." The Shuowen jiezi considers [眦] to mean the eye socket. The Huainanzi states: "Glaring with wide eyes and tearing eye sockets"; this is its meaning.
