稀穊（上喜依反孔注論語稀少也爾雅稀也說文踈也從禾希聲下璣氣反漢書云深耕穊種也說文穊稠也從禾既聲）。

Xiji 稀穊 (the first character is fanqie 喜 + 依. Kong's commentary on the Lunyu states: "Xi 稀 means sparse (shao 少)." The Erya states: "Sparse (xi 稀)." The Shuowen states: "Scattered (shu 踈); classified under grain (禾) with the phonophoric xi 希." The second character is fanqie 璣 + 氣. The Hanshu states: "Plowing deeply and planting densely (ji 穊)." The Shuowen states: "Ji 穊 means thick (chou 稠); classified under grain (禾) with the phonophoric ji 既").
