Blinking the eyes (shuǐ + rùn fanqie. The Shuowen writes it with yín as 瞚, glossing it as: 'Opening and closing the eyes, shaking the eyes frequently; blinking.' In the sūtra it is written with shùn, which is also interchangeably used).
