Deep dark black (靘黑) (the first character is *qing-xing* fan; borrowed as a falling tone; its original pronunciation was the rising tone, which is not adopted here; Jixun says: "𤯝 means black color"; Gujin zhengzi says it takes the color radical and the *qing* (青) sound; the character 𤯝 takes the *sheng* (生) radical and *dan* (丹)).
