刺木（此恣反方言云凡草木有芒傷人謂之刺說文木芒也棘酸棗皂莢皆有㓨用此木也從刀束聲）。

刺木 (thorny wood; has the fanqie ci + zi [cì]; the Fangyan says: "All grasses and trees that have awns that wound people are called cì"; the Shuowen says: "Awns of trees; the bramble, wild jujube, and Chinese honeylocust all have thorns [㓨]"; this uses such wood; it is analyzed as from the knife radical [刀] with the sound shu [束]).
