蟒虵（忙牓反爾雅云莽王虵郭璞注云虵之大者故曰蟒王案括地志說皇喉虵頂上當𬱃皆有王字本是蟒虵種也巴虵即是）。

蟒虵 (python; has the fanqie mang + bang [mǎng]; the Erya says: "The mǎng is the king-snake"; Guo Pu's commentary says: "The largest among snakes, hence called king of pythons"; according to the Kuodi zhi, it says the imperial-throat snake has the character 'king' on top of its head, and is originally a species of python, namely the Ba snake).
