延祺 (to prolong auspiciousness; pronounced qi [qí]; Guo Pu's commentary on the Erya says: "Qí means an auspicious omen"; the Mao Shi says: "Long life and old age are called qí"; the Zhuan says: "Qí means auspicious"; the Wenzidian shuo says: "Auspicious"; the Shuowen says: "Long life and old age are like qí; a phono-semantic character from the spirit radical [示] with the sound qí [其]").
