絣為（上伯萠反字書云振黑繩也集訓云拼撣也或從手作拼古今字誥作䍬䍬皆古今之字也撣音彈）。

Marking with a chalk-line (The first character is bó + péng fanqie. The character books say: 'Snapping the inked cord.' The Jixun says: 'Pīn means dusting off.' It is also written with 'hand' as 拼. The Gujin zihua writes it as 䍬; these are all ancient and modern variants. Dǎn is pronounced tán).
