窊𤲍（上烏瓜反平聲字考聲云伭下也說文汗邪下也從穴瓜聲瓜音寡華反象形字也下衘甲反考聲云水溝相著也從甲夾聲經作翈鳥翮上小毛非經義也）。

Pitted and sunken (The first character is wū + guā fanqie, in the level tone. The Kaosheng says: 'Sunken and low.' The Shuowen says: 'Sloping and low.' It takes 'cave' with guā as phonetic; guā is guǎ + huá fanqie, a pictograph. The second is xián + jiǎ fanqie. The Kaosheng says: 'Water channels adjoining one another.' It takes 'shell' with jiā as phonetic. In the sūtra it is written as 翈, meaning the small feathers on a bird's wings, which is not the meaning of the sūtra).
