Water-chestnuts and lotuses (芰荷: the upper character [芰 is pronounced] 奇 + 寄 fanqie; Jia [Kui]'s commentary on the Guoyu says it is lingyou [water caltrop]; the people of Chu call ling 'you'; Du Lin sometimes writes it 茤).
