𪚕窟（上坎甘反廣疋𪚕[罕-干+成]音成也考聲云鑿山壁為坎也說文龍皃也從今龍經從合作龕非也下苦骨反或從土作堀杜注左傳云地室也古今正字從穴屈聲也）。

Niche or cave (𪚕窟: the upper character [𪚕 is pronounced] 坎 + 甘 fanqie; the Guangya has 𪚕[罕-干+成], pronounced 成; the Kaosheng says it means chiselling a mountain cliff to make a pit; the Shuowen says it means dragon-like appearance, composed of the contemporary character 龍; the sūtra writes it with 合 as 龕, which is incorrect; the lower character [窟 is pronounced] 苦 + 骨 fanqie, sometimes written with 土 as 堀; Du [Yu]'s commentary on the Zuo zhuan says it is an underground chamber; the Gujin zhengzi says it is composed of 穴 'cave' with 屈 as its phonetic).
