Greasing chariot axles (膏車鎋: the upper character [膏] is pronounced 告; the Kaosheng says to apply lubricating oil to a chariot axle is called 'greasing the chariot'; the lower character [鎋 is pronounced] 閑 + 戞 fanqie, also written 鎋, which is interchangeable; it refers to the iron linchpin at the end of a chariot axle).
