交腕（下剜換反經從肉作腕俗字也說文云掌後節也正從手從叉古文爪字從目會意字也）。

Crossing wrists (交腕: the lower character [腕 is pronounced] 剜 + 換 fanqie; the sūtra writes it with 肉 as 腕, a popular character; the Shuowen says it is the joint behind the palm; the standard form is composed of 手 'hand' and 叉; the ancient graph for claw is composed of 目 'eye', an associative compound).
