溉灌（上機義反下官換反考聲云澆也漬也顧野王云溉猶灌注也又云沃注也說文並從水）。

溉灌: The first character has the fanqie ji + yi (gài). The second character has the fanqie guan + huan (guàn). The *Kaosheng* says: 'To pour over; to steep.' Gu Yewang says: 'Gai is like pouring onto; it also means to irrigate.' The *Shuowen* states that both characters are composed with the 'water' (水) semantic.
