四邊緣（悅絹反去聲字鄭注禮記云緣飾邊也從糸借音字經從手作椽曹椽非此用也）。

四邊緣 (pronounced *yu[è] + ju[àn]* fanqie, a departing tone character. Zheng's commentary on the Liji states: '緣 means to trim the border.' It takes the silk radical and is a phonetic borrowing. The sūtra writing it with the hand radical as 椽 [clerk] is not its correct usage here).
