瑕翳 (The upper character is xiá [fanqie: 上夏加反]; the Kaosheng says: 'A flaw in gems or pearls.' It is formed from 玉 with 叚 as phonetic. The lower character is yì [fanqie: 下嬰計反]; Jia's commentary on the Guoyu says: 'Yì means a fan or screen.' Guo's commentary on the Fangyan says: 'To shield, conceal; to cover.' It is formed from 羽 with 殹 as phonetic; 殹 has the same sound as given above).
