近緣（緣絹反去聲字集訓云衣物四邊緣也借音字經文從木作椽音傳非經義也）。

近緣: The second character has the fanqie yuan + juan (yuàn), departing tone. The *Jixun* says: 'The borders on the four sides of garments.' It is a character used for its borrowed pronunciation. The scripture text writes it with the 'wood' (木) radical as 椽, pronounced chuan, which is not the meaning intended by the scripture.
