口道（陶老反鄭注禮記云道說也亦言也說文所行道也從辵首聲古文從首從寸作[(首-目+日)*寸]經從口作噵非也撿諸字書並無此噵字）。

口道: Has the fanqie [t]áo + [l]ǎo. Zheng['s] commentary on the Book of Rites says: "道 means to speak, or to utter." The Shuowen [jiezi] says: "A path traveled; composed of the movement radical (辵) and 首 phonetic." In ancient script it is composed of 首 and 寸, written as [(首-目+日)*寸]. In the scriptures it is written with the mouth radical as 噵, which is incorrect; upon searching all character books, no such character 噵 exists.
