所螫（下聲隻反說文云螫蟲行毒也從虫赦聲經從亦作螫俗字也隻音征尺反）。
所螫: The second character has the fanqie [sh]ēng + [zh]ī. The Shuowen [jiezi] says: "螫 means insects administering poison; composed of the insect radical (虫) and 赦 phonetic." In the scriptures it is written with 亦 as 螫, which is a popular form. The pronunciation of 隻 has the fanqie [zh]ēng + [ch]ǐ.
