[糸*(林/肉)*(敲-高)]葢（上珊亶反經作傘俗字也東觀漢記云時天大雨上騎持繖葢從百餘騎顧野王云繖即葢也古今正字從糸[(林/日)*ㄆ]聲也）。

[糸*(林/肉)*(敲-高)]葢: The first character has the fanqie [sh]ān + [d]ǎn. In the scriptures it is written as 傘, which is a popular form. The Dongguan Hanji says: "At that time it rained heavily; the Emperor rode holding an umbrella ([糸*(林/肉)*(敲-高)]葢) accompanied by over a hundred horsemen." Gu Yewang says: "繖 means parasol/canopy (葢)." The Gujin zhengzi says: "Composed of the silk radical (糸) and [(林/日)*ㄆ] phonetic."
