瘡皰（下白皃反淮南子云潰小皰而發痤疽也許叔重曰皰面氣之瘡也說文云皰面生氣也從皮包聲痤音坐和反疽音七余反）。

疮皰 (the second character is pronounced with the fanqie 白 + 皃 [bào]. The Huainanzi says: "Lancing a small blister may cause a malignant carbuncle to break out." Xu Shuzhong [Xu Shen] says: "Pào is a sore from qi in the face." The Shuowen says: "Pào means qi arising on the face." It is formed with the radical 皮 "skin" and 包 as phonetic. 痤 is pronounced with the fanqie 坐 + 和 [zuò]; 疽 is pronounced with the fanqie 七 + 余 [jū]).
