地菌（下羣殞反山海經云孟子之山多菌尒雅馗菌也郭璞注云地蕈也似盖今江東呼為土菌莊生曰朝菌不知晦朔是也所在皆有人皆食之也）。

地菌 (The lower character has the fanqie [羣+殞]. The Shanhaijing says: "Mount Mengzi has many fungi." The Erya says: "馗 means fungus." Guo Pu's commentary says: "Earth-fungus, resembling a canopy; nowadays east of the Yangtze it is called soil-fungus." Master Zhuang says: "The morning mushroom knows not the dark of month's end nor the new moon"; this is it. It is found everywhere, and people all eat it.)
