Between the crotch (當跨) (kua + hua fan. The Cang Jie pian states: "Between the two thighs." The Shuowen states: "Composed with 'foot' [足] semantic and 夸 phonetic." The Zilin states: "Sometimes written with 'meat' [肉] as 胯, which is also acceptable").
