雲雹（下疣邈反白虎通云雹之言合也陰氣專精凝合為雹鄭玄注禮記云陽為雨陰起脅之凝結而為雹也）。

雲雹 (The lower character is pronounced with the fanqie 疣邈 [bó]. The Baihu tong says: "Hail (雹) implies 'coalescing' (合). The concentrated essence of yin qi condenses and coalesces into hail." Zheng Xuan's commentary to the Liji says: "Yang becomes rain; yin arises to press against it, congealing and consolidating it into hail.")
