掬𣀙（上引六反考聲掬取也古今正字從手形聲字下珊旦反說文分離也從支林聲林音並賣反林即分散意也今時從肉亦同珊音桑單反）。

掬𣀙 (The upper character is pronounced with the fanqie 引六 [jū]. The Kaosheng says: "掬 means to take up." The Gujin zhengzi analyzes it as semantic 手, a phono-semantic graph. The lower character is pronounced with the fanqie 珊旦 [sǎn]. The Shuowen says: "To separate. Analyzed as semantic 攴 and phonetic 林." 林 is pronounced with the fanqie 並賣 [bài]; 林 carries the meaning of dispersal. Nowadays it is also written with 肉. 珊 is pronounced with the fanqie 桑單 [shān].)
