蝦蟇（上下加反下馬巴反蒼頡篇云簷諸也一名蛙古今正字義同二字竝從虫叚莫皆聲也蟇正作蟆或作𢋙經作䗫俗字）。

蝦蟇 (The upper character is xià jiā fan [xiā]; the lower character is mǎ bā fan [má]. The Cangjie pian says: "Yánzhū [toad], also called wā [frog]." The Gujin zhengzi gives the same meaning. Both characters are composed of 虫 with 叚 and 莫 as their phonetics. The standard form of 蟇 is 蟆, or written 𢋙; the sūtra writes it as 䗫, a popular character).
