甎跗（上音尃經用小方甎也下音夫從足從付經意跗者如綫垛跗豎安孔雀尾也）。

Brick base (甎跗: the upper character is pronounced 尃; the sūtra uses it to mean a small square brick. The lower character is pronounced 夫; it takes “foot” [足] with 付 as its phonetic component. The sūtra's meaning for fu is like a mounded spool or pedestal to set up a peacock's feather upright.)
